Royal Rangers attend State Pow-Wow at Camp Timberlake

This year’s theme was “Rise-Up and Build” based on Nehemiah 2:18. As part of the camp, the rangers learned and practiced skills in carpentry, electricity, plumbing, welding, and masonry.

With the assistance of Master Mason Tommy Dawkins of Lincolnton, each boy laid a brick on a fountain that will be the centerpiece of a memorial garden at the state campground, Camp Timberlake.

Royal Rangers is a ministry of the Assemblies of God with the mission to “Reach, Teach, and Keep boys for Jesus Christ.” It is open to all boys between the ages of 5-14. Meetings are held every Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. at First Assembly on Thomson Highway beginning Aug 4th. For further information please call the church at 706-359-7237.
